Discover Sailing Day is FREE and is hosted jointly by the Port Macquarie Sailing and Yacht Clubs, along with Sailability. This are a fantastic way to have a great day out on the banks of our beautiful Hastings River, showing just how fun, safe, accessible, and affordable sailing is.

The local community or anyone else interested will have the option to go out for a short sail with an experienced sailor, have a look around the club facilities, and find out about the programs and sailing courses available. There will be something for the whole family and even kids as young as five years old can sail, when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We plan to hold the following 4 sessions for the Sailing Club and Sailability:

• Session 1 - 11am to 12pm
• Session 2 - 12pm to 1pm
• Session 3 - 1pm to 2pm
• Session 4 - 2pm to 3pm

We plan to hold the following 3 sessions for the Yacht Club [minimum 15 years of age]:

• Session 2 - 12pm to 1pm
• Session 3 - 1pm to 2pm
• Session 4 - 2pm to 3pm

NOTE: Entry is FREE - just click on "Register" to enter, then click on "Sign up" to create your Australian Sailing Number, which provides free Personal Accident cover, then click on "NEW MEMBER" at the bottom and provide your details, then follow the steps to complete your registration.

If you are registering your child, note parents and guardians must ensure all childeren under the age of 18 years are supervised at this function.
